A musical tribute of inspiring songs and patriotic music honoring the memory of those who have served our country, performed by the 4th Cavalry Regimental Band, and as directed by Al Vreeland. The Old Arizona Brass Band will also be performing in traditional uniforms! The music, uniforms and instruments are authentic to the bands of the period.
2011 Military Women's Conference
Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, 2011
Sheraton Crescent Hotel
2620 W. Dunlap
Phoenix, AZ85021
The planning committee met this week and we have finalized the dates and location of the 2011 Military Women's Conference. It will be at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel on Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, 2011. After much deliberation, the committee is holding the conference in Phoenix as the geographic center of the state. We are focusing on how to help women get to Phoenix from various parts of the state and are open to ideas and assistance you can offer. There will no charge to participate in the event, which includes lunch both days.
We have been working on the keynote speakers and do not yet have confirmation, but promise that they will be military women who have amazing stories to share with you. As information becomes available, we will keep you informed. If you are interested in being an exhibitor, you will be getting information from the Exhibitor Chair, Axinia Shade in the coming weeks.
Check back for updates and visit http://www.azdvs.gov/news_events.aspx . They will also have additional information.
